Across Canada the need for an option to hospital care for those individuals who do not have the support necessary to die at home has become apparent. ARCH has taken the lead in providing the community with the dream of residential hospice to fill that gap. Fundraising events have provided an opportunity to educate the public as have our presentations to community groups and at palliative care conferences, and media interviews.
