Sarah's Bug's Sweethearts

There is a new ARCH Angel that has recently come through our doors. 8 year old Sarah enjoys making special sweet treats for her family and friends. She wants to be a baker when she grows up and to prepare for that, she has started a little business called “Sarah Bug’s Sweettreats.”sarabug With the help of her family, Sarah is taking orders for anything you can think of from chocolate covered pretzels, cakes, cookies, chocolate covered gummy candy, caramel apples, banana loaves, candy kabobs, chocolate covered marshmallows, and so on. If you can think it up, she’ll find a way to make it.

The cost for these treats, whether on their own or in a mixed basket is by donation. From every order, Sarah is donating 50% to ARCH and putting the other 50% into her school savings account.
Check out Sarah’s youtube video – Sarah Bugs Sweettreats
To order: Send an e-mail to: bugsbakery@live.ca or call: 705-971-4658
Cost: By donation remembering that 50% goes to ARCH.

THE 8TH ANNUAL ARCH CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT took place on Friday, September 9 at the Sault Country Club. The sun shone, the tournament was full, the greens were green, prizes were won and a great time was had by both those golfing and the many volunteers that worked in the background.

ARCH is very appreciative of all those that helped make this tournament successful, the corporate sponsorship of CTV and Investors Group, our hole sponsors, the many business and individuals that donated golf prizes and items for the Silent Auction and the volunteer golf committee under the leadership of Dave Archibald and Steve Dunn.

The support of the Sault Ste. Marie community helps make this tournament possible.
$30,000.00 was raised for ARCH.
Our community with a hospice is a caring community.

Angel Bookmarks are available at ARCH for $4.00.
Bookmarks are available at ARCH. This is an ongoing fundraiser for ARCH. They are made by Kelsey Hroch who lost her dad to cancer a couple of years ago. She wrote, "I know that he would have preferred being in a home-like environment rather than the hospital. It would have meant a lot to him to be at ARCH. When ARCH opened, there was a lot of talk about raising money in our community to help keep it running. I wanted to help. I came up with the idea of making bookmarks. My uncle agreed to sell them in his office. A lot of people purchased them knowing that the proceeds were going to stay local. There isn't a family that hasn't been touched by cancer."
